Yanela Arroyo

Yanela joined The Hardy Group’s New York office in 2018 with 14 years of experience in engineering and construction management. Yanela is a dynamic, results-driven professional committed to cultivating, implementing, and monitoring innovative project management solutions and strategic workflow processes. As an On-Site Senior Project Manager, Yanela is present during the active construction of the Project and is tasked with the day-to-day oversight of the General Contractor and coordination with Hotel Operations.

Yanela’s most recent projects include:

• Renovation of the Hilton Woodcliff Lake, Montvale, NJ.
• Management of the On-Site Project Managers for a variety of hotels, part of The Highgate Program, a collection of approximately 150 hotels spanning from New York to California.
• Renovation of The Conrad New York Midtown Hotel in New York City, NY.
• Renovation of guestrooms at The Doubletree Penn Station Hotel in Newark, NJ.
• Owners Representation and CAPEX Management for The New York EDITION in New York City, NY.
• Renovation of all amenity spaces, including reception, lobby lounge, library, and restaurant at The Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza in New York City, NY.
• Renovation of guestrooms and corridors at M Social Hotel Times Square in New York City, NY.

In addition to her work with HARDY, Yanela, during her employment at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge as the Director of Engineering, was instrumental in obtaining the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification as well as being presented with the Environmental Protection Award by the Hotel Association of New York City (HANYC). Yanela was the Director of Engineering for the Hyatt Regency Jersey City, Supervisor for Engineering at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich, Old Greenwich, CT, served on the opening team for Hyatt corporate and was part of their Diversity and Inclusion Council.

Yanela Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified, was Fire Safety Director trained and has B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Technology from New York Institute Of Technology – New York, NY.
