Verlynda joined The Hardy Group in 2015, with 40 years of accounting experience and has undertaken all the accounting responsibilities for HARDY projects. She handles HARDY accounts payable, monthly billing of projects, processing and approving personnel’s weekly time sheets and expense reports, managing project related expense reports and invoices. Verlynda also oversees the onboarding of new employees, travel bookings, processing 1099 forms, setting up new projects and clients in Nexonia, reconciling of bank statements for The Hardy Group owned companies and managing the PTO/Time Off Program.

Verlynda’s background includes planning and coordinating both business and personal travel, meetings, itineraries, and special projects; serving as a liaison between executives and staff; writing and typing correspondence; organizing and processing expense reports; and creating and implementing processes to organize the office, increase efficiency, and save expenses.

Prior to HARDY, Verlynda spent 30 years as an executive assistant with a proven record of success working for seven executives at three separate companies. She worked as a loan processor, administrative assistant, accounts payable and accounts receivable for Atlantic State Mortgage Co., Inc., working closely with the President in growing the company to six additional staff members in less than six months. Prior to that she worked at Wilson Insulation Company, providing executive support to the Chief Executive Officer and Vice President gaining valuable experience that she applies every day to The Hardy Group.
