Rex Morgan

Rex joined The Hardy Group in 2018 as a seasoned Project Manager, bringing with him 20 years of on-site project management experience. He has a diverse background in managing projects across various sectors, including office/warehouse spaces, tenant build-outs, medical facilities (dental, chiropractic, and eye care), VA medical facilities, federal government spaces, military buildings, medical manufacturing, and hospitality. In his role as an On-Site Senior Project Manager, Rex oversees the active construction phases of projects, ensuring daily coordination with the General Contractor and Hotel Operations for seamless project execution. His expertise in AutoCAD allows him to create detailed overlays for locating new plumbing and mechanical systems, reducing the need for exploratory cutting.

A selection of Rex’s recent projects include:

• New build tower, complete renovation of guestrooms and public spaces, and hurricane remediation at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples in Naples, FL.
• Senior Project Manager for a 76-hotel Capital Expenditure Program that involved the renovation of 61 Marriott and 15 Hilton select serve assets located across the U.S. within a 30-month window
• Hurricane remediation and restoration at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, FL
• Extensive renovation of all guestrooms and 1st and 6th floor public spaces at Omni San Diego in San Diego, CA.
• Extensive renovation of guestrooms and public spaces at the Grande Lakes Orlando in Orlando, FL
• Redevelopment of guestrooms and public spaces at Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club in Rendezvous Bay, Anguilla.

Prior to joining The Hardy Group, Rex spent eight years with an architecture firm in Minnesota, where he worked on two large multi-use developments encompassing senior housing, multi-unit residential housing, and retail spaces. He also served as Project Manager/Consultant for La Quinta Management LLC in Irving, TX, Senior Field Supervisor/Project Manager for Schoenfelder Renovations in Minnetonka, MN, and Project Manager for both Versacon Construction and Commercial Construction, Inc. in Minnesota. 

Additionally, Rex holds an Associates Degree in Architecture.
