Monica Hairston

Monica joined The Hardy Group in 2023 with over 16 years of professional experience. Monica has served as a Project Accountant – Multi-Family Department, Accounts Receivable Analyst, Data Integrity Analyst, and Credit-Collections Analyst. She has worked for a variety of companies including Atlanta West Carpets, Airgas USA, and Tota USA Inc. 

Since joining The Hardy Group Monica has worked on incredible projects such as Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, FL and Cabot Saint Lucia in Saint Lucia. Her responsibilities as a Project Accountant include but are not limited to making sure all accounting is accurate and update to date for projects, entering invoices, contracts, change orders, and new vendors into the accounting platform Rivur. Monica also maintains the current budget/makes any necessary budget reallocations and completes the monthly draws.

Most recently, Monica held the title of Project Accountant – Multi-Family Department at Atlanta West Carpets. Her responsibilities included but weren’t limited to, ensuring accurate reporting or project status, cost incurred, and actuals spent, requesting and completing support lien waivers from vendors and sub-contractors, building and maintaining a statement of values (SOV) for existing projects billing, and Accounts Receivable reporting for Multi-Family. 

Monica has a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration degree with a concertation in Accounting from Morris Brown College and an MBA from University of Phoenix.
