Mike Gray

Mike joined The Hardy Group in 2023 with over 40 years of industry experience. He is a results oriented hospitality professional that has expertise in construction project management, owner’s representative, FF&E logistics, strategic planning, purchasing, marketing, product development, and hotel operations. As of December 2023, Mike is currently working on a $44 Million hotel renovation at the W Hollywood in California. The renovation is inclusive of public spaces, restaurant and guest room transformation.

Mike has served in a variety of roles holding the title of Chief Engineer, Owner’s Representative/Project Manager and Director of Purchasing. He has worked for Aimbridge Hospitality, Madison Equities, Inc, Atrium Hospitality and Carlson Rezidor Hotels. In his recent hospitality project management roles, Mike managed all aspects of hotel renovation projects for Atrium Hospitality (owner of 80+ multi-branded hotels) and successfully completed multiple projects for Carlson owned/Managed hotels and achieved a total budget savings of $7.5 million.

Additionally, Mike has experience in Hotel Operations in Purchasing at various hotel locations, both domestic and international. He was on the Corporate Task Force with new hotels for training and opening assistance, developed new hotel purchasing documentation, and worked in various hotel operations departments as needed including accounting, human resources, and engineering.

Mike attended Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria, Minnesota and received an honorable discharge from the United States Navy.
