Ben Simmons

Ben joined The Hardy Group in 2023 with over 10 years of Project Management experience. Ben has served as a Senior Project Manager, Senior Facilities Project Manager, and a Project Engineer. He has worked for a variety of companies including Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Extended Stay America, and Lend Lease.

In his previous role as Senior Project Manager for Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Ben directed multiple military installation projects across the country. He managed roofing replacements, structural repairs, and a $35 Million outyear development program which included interior renovations, exterior renovations, housing conversions, demolition, and landslide construction. Prior to that, Ben was a Senior Project Manager, Renovations for Extended Stay America. He directed 50+ hotel renovation projects across the country with a total internal budget exceeding $100,000,000. His responsibilities included but weren’t limited to: managing up to 6 field-based Owners Representatives with third party project management partner, finalizing designs of 4 separate renovation scopes with the in house design team, and leading pre-construction efforts for all interior renovations program consisting of bid creation, review, and price negotiation.

Ben received a Bachelor of Science – Construction Management degree with a minor in Business Management from Georgia Southern University.
