Andrew Chew

Andrew joined The Hardy Group in 2018, bringing with him 21 years of professional construction experience. His exceptional performance quickly stood out, and after just three years, he was entrusted with leading the comprehensive Highgate Select Renovation Program. In this role, Andrew successfully managed over 140 projects across the United States.

To support the program’s success, Andrew developed an innovative budget model, along with integrated program management reporting and project management tools. These tools have become instrumental in enabling the team to effectively budget and oversee the portfolio’s renovations, ensuring consistent and successful outcomes.

In his current role, as Senior Project Director, Andrew leads overall project management, serving as the primary client contact and overseeing budgets, schedules, design development, and construction. Additionally, he manages cost control, cash flow forecasts, and project reporting to ensure efficient and successful execution.

A selection of Andrew’s recent projects include:

• The transformation of The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, including renovation of guestrooms, villas, and public spaces.

• Renovation and repositioning of Candelero Point Beach Resort in Puerto Rico.

• Management of the Highgate Select Renovation Program, overseeing more than 140 projects across the United States.

• Management of the Colony Northstar Renovation Program, including extensive updates across the portfolio.

Prior to joining HARDY, Andrew worked as a Construction Consultant for USA Inspection Services, LLC, a Construction Manager for The Dennis Group, LLC, and Interim Director of Operations for Lifecycle Building Center. His broad experience allowed him to focus on risk management, property condition assessments, pre-construction analysis, and field operations for residential and commercial developments.

Andrew received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Management from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA.
