Unveiling The Waterside Ballroom: A Premier Event Space at Signia by Hilton, Orlando Bonnet Creek

The Hardy Group is proud to have served as the project managers for the new build of 93,857 sq. ft. of expanded meeting and event space at Signia by Hilton, Orlando Bonnet Creek. This two-story addition is seamlessly connected to the existing resort and overlooks the picturesque Bonnet Creek waterways. The centerpiece of this expansion is the 35,098 sq. ft. Waterside Ballroom, a state-of-the-art venue suspended above the lake, accessible via a covered walkway, and divisible into 12 sections to accommodate a variety of events.

The new event spaces include a 6,526 sq. ft. prefunction area, an 8,132 sq. ft. screened lanai offering breathtaking views of the nightly Walt Disney World fireworks, and a 37,885 sq. ft. outdoor patio and event lawn with views of the resort’s championship golf course. Additionally, seven new meeting rooms, totaling 6,216 sq. ft., are designed to be flexible and can be divided into sections for smaller gatherings. The entire expansion was completed in February 2024 and promises to elevate the meeting and event experience for all guests.

“This project presented a unique set of challenges, from material shortages due to the pandemic to the complexities of building over water and integrating with both an occupied hotel and an active golf course,” said Eric Augur, Project Executive at The Hardy Group. “Thanks to the collaborative efforts of Park Hotels & Resorts and the exceptional project team, we overcame these obstacles and are thrilled to deliver The Waterside Ballroom as a signature space for unforgettable experiences at the resort.”
