Newly Renovated Hotel MdR Revives Harbor Area

Led by Brent Hardy, President of The Hardy Group, Hotel Mdr Marina del Rey – a DoubleTree by Hilton, opened late summer 2014.

Designed with a minimalist, west coast aesthetic by Indidesign, the scope of the renovation included a complete refresh of public spaces following the transition from Courtyard Marriott to Doubletree.  The 240-room property maintains the basic DNA of the Doubletree standards, yet it was designed with the flare of a boutique hotel, incorporating technology and places for socialization outdoors and in.

The John Hardy Group conducted the due diligence analysis for the property prior to its purchase and project managed its renovation.
