The Diplomat Beach Resort, under the management of the Curio Collection by Hilton, has undergone an extensive renovation and rebranding project-managed by leading development services firm, The Hardy Group. The property boasts a powerful legacy as an iconic beachfront resort since its opening in 1958 and now serves as a vibrant Hollywood, Florida destination. Guests, whether locals or vacationers, are drawn to such amenities as the full-service spa, 24-hour fitness center, and two outdoor pools.
Major updates include a complete reimagining of the now 1,000 guest rooms, and expansive public spaces such as the lobby, kids’ club, and six total F&B venues, including the celebrated Monkitail restaurant inspired by a Japanese izakaya. The chef Geoffrey Zakarian has developed two of the hotel’s venues: the restaurant Point Royal and the café Counter Point. The hotel’s refurbished rooms are spacious and stylish, boasting striking views of the ocean and pools. Exterior upgrades include extensive landscaping and the addition of a new waterpark.
“We are proud to have completed the renovation of the 1,000 rooms in just four months and without any interruption to the hotel’s guests, who enjoyed a fully operational hotel throughout the process,” said Brent Hardy, Director of Development at The Hardy Group.
The property is owned by Thayer Lodging Group, a Brookfield affiliated company.
