Pre-Acquisition Due-Diligence

HARDY is able to utilizes are development experience to assist clients in understanding all risks which may exist as part of an acquisition or development investment.  During the due-diligence phase of a potential acquisition, HARDY advises Clients on the condition of the property, risks which may need to be considered as part of a potential development or capital plan, and provide early validation of budget and schedule assumptions.  Often, this service includes leading a team of specialty architects and engineers to fully investigate and report on the current condition of the property to identify and uncover any hidden concerns.

Our Methodology

Evaluation phase

We ask questions and quantify answers. Here ownership investment goals, scope of work, budget, schedule and required quality levels are identified. We create the plan and support the vision, comprehensively presented in The Hardy Group’s Black Book analysis.

Definition phase

The Hardy Group oversees the design process, contractor selection and installation approach and the coordination of all ownership, consultant, governmental modification and approvals required for final FF&E procurement, construction pricing and contract execution.

We manage complexity of the construction, procurement, installation, governmental approval and our proprietary, real‐time analytic tools keep our clients informed about exactly where the project and budget stand form construction start to closeout.
